Drive Motor Retail recognised its top performing employees at its annual OverDrive awards dinner.
The Vauxhall, MG and Citroen car and van group ended the year with an evening of celebration, which took place at Bristol Harbour Hotel and was attended by over 250 guests from across the business.
Over 60 employees were recognised for their achievements with Drive Vauxhall Bury St Edmunds (pictured) winning the Best Dealer category.
Sarah Ferrari, general manager at Drive Bury St Edmunds, said: “We’re delighted to be chosen as the Best Dealership for 2021.
“It’s no secret that this year has been another challenging one for the motor industry so to keep our standards high and be recognised for that by the whole Drive group gives me a huge sense of pride.
“I’d like to thank all of my team who have worked incredibly hard and have all contributed to this award.”
The black-tie gala was hosted by Drive’s joint managing directors Rob Keenan and Stuart Harrison.
Rob said: “It was fantastic to be able to get so many of the team together to recognise the amazing achievements of the past 12 months.
“After not being able to host the awards last year, we wanted to give the team a truly memorable celebration in 2021 after having had a strong year of trading following the effects of the pandemic.
“Everyone has worked really hard to exceed our targets and we are all looking forward to some very exciting plans for 2022.”
Stuart said: “As a company we know that we are only ever as successful as our team. The OverDrive awards are a great way of celebrating the talent of the individuals we have at Drive and we were able to unveil some exciting plans for improving our employee benefits programme going into 2022.”
Drive Motor Retail has annual turnover of £250m and employs 700 staff.
It was recently successful in the Motor Trader awards, with the company winning the Best in Customer Service category at a ceremony held at the Grosvenor Park Lane, London on 30 November.
