Batchelors Motor Group in North Yorkshire has acquired Kineholme of Otley Renault and Dacia.
Batchelors was established in 1987 by David Batchelor. In 2013, the business was acquired by the Tony Denton who has expanded the group, opening York Suzuki in 2019.
In 2021, the group added a paint and cosmetic repair centre to the business. Last year saw it deliver pre tax profits of £734,000 on turnover of £18.7m.
Kineholme has served Otley, Ilkley and surrounding areas since 1956 making it one of the longest established motor retailers in Wharfedale.
Denton said: ‘’Kineholme is an established family-owned business that fits perfectly within our TLC not PLC ethos.
“I am excited to expand into West Yorkshire and continue to serve our loyal customers in Otley, and new customers too.
“For our existing Batchelors customers, Renault and Dacia offer class leading electric and hybrid cars which complement our existing Suzuki range perfectly.’’
